JP Peartree is a pen name, like many of you in the author circles, same with my co-author AM Peartree. It's a play on words with our main names "Pereira" which means Peartree in Portuguese.

I am 44 years old and my co-author, AM Peartree is 30 years old. We are brother and sister, the oldest and the youngest in the litter.

I am an IT Support Admin and the artist and copywriter and AM Peartree is the brain, she is licensed in Languages, Literatures and Cultures.
​
As an IT administrator and artist, I bring a creative perspective to our work.
Meanwhile, my sister, who is licensed in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, provides a valuable understanding of the power of language and communication. Together, we have created a series of mindfulness activity books that aim to help children develop essential life skills and improve their mental health.
I am currently designing and illustrating the Mindfulness for Teens upcoming book.
We are also excited to announce that we are working on expanding our brand to include journals and apparel for children, inspired by the themes and activities in our mindfulness activity books.
